I thought it will be a good time to post something n this occasoion, so I'm going back to basics in character design...rough sketches. Hope you like it.

ReplyDeleteI'm interested in what these sketches are for. It looks like something Biblical.

Thanks for the kind comment on my currently neglected blog haha,
ReplyDeleteI figured I would take a look at your stuff. These designs are looking pretty cool, are they for a film or for fun? Where do you plan to go work-wise when you are finished your senior year? (if not already completed)
Nate
Very nice! You are very good and sure to go far!
ReplyDeleteCOOL jobs¡¡¡
ReplyDeleteHey Ed, nice work, i like where you're going with a bunch of the face designs. Your drawings are really friendly too. :)
ReplyDeleteTo leave a crit... its something that i constantly wrestle with, I think you should focus more on anatomy/life drawing. I'm finding that the better i get at it the more i'm enjoying drawing, and it only helps with pushing designs.
Cheers,
Mike
Really nice work, Edgar! You have a very confident, honed style.
ReplyDeleteHey, just touching base. Just wanted to drop by and let you know that I haven't forgotten about your request - internet for me hasn't been easy as of late.
ReplyDeleteI can't really get into anything in-depth this time around, both viewing-wise or comment-wise. I do want to do both at some point when I have more time to appreciate what you have here. Your blog is on my "to do" list, rest assured.
In the meantime though, I can suggest one artist that I really think has some good stuff to visually digest: Heinrich Kley. Cool stuff that I think is pretty self explanatory if you get a chance to check it out. Cheers.
Hey Edgar!
ReplyDeleteAwesome work my friend! I love it. Keep up the fantastic drawings. You have so much expression and life in your chracters.
You've got a lot of great stuff on your blog! Amazing style.
ReplyDeleteawesome Ed
ReplyDeleteHi Edgar...Sorry for the late response. I was really busy doing some boards. Anyway, The stuff that you posted looks neat but too stiff. Think of silhouette, this will make your poses more DYNAMIC.Vary your lines, this will make your drawings more round. Practice more on drawing HANDS....many artist forgets that the hand is as expressive as the face., it gives more emotion if it follows thru with the facial expressions.
ReplyDeleteLet me know how I can help you more in developing your drawings. Good Luck !
